When Bootycalls Go Bad Pt. 1

All good things must come to an end I guess.

I've extolled the virtues of bootycalling here, only to have mine go bad.

BOTH OF THEM. Which is why this will be a two-parter.

Let's start with J. This cute, sexy, California native has gotten his boxers in a bunch due to the fact that I declined to go on that California trip with him for a weekend. Remember I told you guys about that a few weeks ago?

Well, I told him that because I just got out of a relationship, I don't want to do "relationship activities" with anyone, and taking romantic weekend trips is drifting into "relationship territory".

I wasn't a bitch about it either. I told him I LOVE HAVING SEX WITH HIM (cause I do), and that for right now, it's my preference that our relationship remains purely sexual.

Well, you would think this is music to the average man's ears right?

Um, NO. It wasn't music to his ears.

In fact, he was offended and thought I was "ungrateful" rather than flattered, which in his mind, is what I should have been.

I decided to let him cool off for a little while and called him two weeks after we discussed this.

Well, get this...his number is no longer working.

I haven't had a call or email from him in three weeks now. And since I don't chase men under any circumstances, I don't intend to email him. So I guess we're done.

Did I handle this the wrong way by being honest or are his own irrational, wounded feelings and ego to blame here?

Its good you were honest.... honesty is the best policy. Obviously he was looking for relationship material not just a fucking buddy so he felt the need just to leave you alone, I guess. I guess he couldn't just have sex with you.... his emotions got invovled got the best of him and he couldn't take it, lol. I would say neither party is to blame, it is what it is.

Seems to me as if he was fine and dandy with this plan in the beginning and somehow lost his way...it's never fair when people try to change the rules of the game halfway in but I concur with Thatgirl, it is what it is. Men ALWAYS act as if women are the ones who are always guilty of this but it is often THEM!

You seem to attract men pretty easily though so this is J's bad, not yours.

Oh and BTW if he cut off his number because of you, that is a very girly move. What a wimp.

It's him. Apparently freaking hot sex wasn't enough. Oh well. There's always more where that came from. ;)

LOL---men can be so funny! I can't believe he pulled a disappearing act cos you nixed his invite. He needs to friggin get over hisself....Jeez louise!

Perhaps there are more issues than you know, like maybe he's flat broke and his phone got caught off.

Guess he couldn't handle the tables turned...lol---you're the emotionally unavailable one! So what's the other story?

(currently listening to Ciara's If I were a boy!--- i think it's better than Beyonce's version)
