Anyway, I wanted to do a post today about porn viewership and link to a few web sites I frequent in search for good porn.
I will admit that I'm picky about the kind of XXX rated movies I'll watch and I assume most female porn fans would say the same. I have some non-negotiables when it comes to what I'm okay with watching. First and foremost, if I'm watching a movie and the facial expression or body language of the woman is "off", I'm done.
If she doesn't appear to be enjoying herself, I'm completely disturbed and haunted by that image. Seeing a portion of a movie where the female looks on the verge of tears, appears as if she's going to be physically ill, or just seems as if she'd rather be ANYWHERE but filming that scene is an awful experience as a viewer and as a woman.
Also I can't tolerate the name calling...maybe some women like to be called bitch, and ho, and that type of shit during sex, but I don't and I don't wanna watch someone be spoken to like that period.
Thirdly, any kind of violence other than a few playful slaps on the ass is a no-go for me. Fuck all that choking and clawing bullshit. I wanna see people having passionate, pleasurable sex. If I want violence I'll catch an episode of WWE wrestling or watch a fucking cage fight.
Obviously these things aren't the end all be all of what I won't watch because there are so very disturbing genre's of porn on the market. Stuff so extreme, I don't wanna think about it, much less look at it.
Personally speaking though, I enjoy porn in fairly generous doses.
T and I are avid porn watchers. We email one another videos from xtube, and all we watch when he's here is porn, porn, porn.
In my experience, the great thing about watching porn with a mature, reasonable partner is that they don't watch these movies and then have ridiculous expectations of you. Some of the more immature men I've met have watched so much porn that their minds are warped by what they've seen. They've had more experience watching porn than connecting physically with REAL WOMEN and getting to know what stimulates us. Some of these dicks really do expect all of the women they fuck to be a cum swallowing, anal sex loving, nymphomaniac who screams non-stop during sex.
Get real dumbasses.
Ugh, in any case a few of the places I shop for porn are rental based companies. Similar to Netflix but porny!
I definitely recommend Sugar DVD and GOFLIX for rental options. Sugar DVD has a better selection, IMO so maybe try them first.
Also, I'm constantly looking for women friendly porn because in my fantasy life, I wanna be a porn director! My movies would be soooooo awesome and so totally geared toward chicks.

I look for new female oriented porn web sites regularly because well, I embrace my sexuality and have no qualms about watching others express theirs on screen. Porn is a subjective thing but in general, I don't think it's unhealthy to watch and I don't have that blanket instinct that all porn is demeaning or degrading to women. I think it can be empowering and inspiring.

Hey there, I'm surprised that nobody answered this bold post of yours yet (a woman who enjoys porn, and talks about it, OMG what a delight) ; and I'm positively surprised at your position towards porn. I like a good porn, too, and my BF too, but it is very rare that we would watch one together - it would distract me from having sex with him, or I would put the movie aside. I agree with you on the quality of the acting ; for instance, one of the best porn scenes I've ever seen simply involved a straight couple; you could just feel they were making love. I completely agree with you that the violence depicted in some porn is terribly disturbing. I have been looking for couples stuff and non-weird/nasty porn. Thanks for the links! I fully agree on all counts!!! My ex husband and I used to go shopping for porn all the time. He was also a musician and we would talk about doing suitable tracks for background music because they mostly SUCK!!

As for the porn viewing, I like a good porn as well, but I have to admit, when I watch porn I want to see something outside of what I normally do in bed,... a fantasy if you will. I don't expect my partner to dress up every night, nor do I expect either of us to get off from calling the other names; however, the pornographic film allows for that fantasy. It would be nice to have rose petals on silky-satin sheets every night but you know what, getting some in the elevator on the way up to the meeting... awesome! A fantasy, yes; the epitome of romance, most certainly not. You don't climax but you build up that arousal before you head to the boardroom and you can't wait to get home to the bedroom. Not all sex should end with the climax. Does a man have to climax every single time, no; does a woman have to orgasm every single time, no.
